Artiste MEDRA

The artist was born in 1972 in Vitry sur Seine. After a stint in an advertising design school, where meetings and the discovery of the Hip Hop movement in the early 90s led him to take the path of vacant lots and other railway tracks, “Medra” joined different collectives from the southern suburbs, close to rap groups such as Different Teep (Mafia K'1 fry), Mc Solaar, his first graffiti were then created with his sidekick from the time "Deart" Alias Daddy Morry from Raggasonic. Over time, multiplying experiences, his painting reveals an assertive style, his Art is presented on different supports: posters, creation of logos, record covers, show sets, exhibitions in Paris and its suburbs, introductory workshops with various audiences... Today, rich in all these encounters, “Medra” gives us an explosive, urban painting.
