Born in Gabrovo, Bulgaria, in 1957, Ivan TZONEV has been involved in the artistic world for many years. After completing his art studies, he began a career as a textile painter before turning to teaching. While he enjoys sharing his love of painting with children, he never forgot the pleasure he finds in the contact between brush and canvas. He then became a decorator before deciding to leave Bulgaria and move to Paris, where he devoted himself entirely to painting. Today, his favorite subjects are portraits and landscapes.
