My works are a true desire to express emotions that only abstract art can translate, synonymous with freedom of thought and ideas that allow one to wander without direction. The seven years I spent in Brussels, a capital of contemporary and artistic culture, deeply nourished my creativity. Artists such as Christian-Hetzel, Gary Komarin, and Allison B. Cooke also awakened powerful emotions within me that guided my artistic work.
Passionate about colors and their combinations, the use of pigments was a revelation, a technique that allowed me to create my own color palette. Working with pigments gives my creations a natural and wild appearance, while acrylic paint brings a glossy texture to the canvas: this is how I play with materials. I use brushes for the spontaneous movement they provide, while the palette knife helps structure the composition.
