Koba is a Georgian painter born in 1970. He developed an interest in art at a very early age. A few years later, he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tbilisi, where he specialized in monumental painting. Shortly after graduating, Koba decided to leave his native country for France in search of new sources of inspiration. After a period in Brussels, the artist now lives and works in Geneva. Koba's works lie at the crossroads between figurative and abstract art. While the subject remains figurative, the treatment often drifts toward abstraction. Light is also a key element in his work.
